Who We Are

Nurses for Single Payer (NFSP) is an Oregon-based organization of energized nurses who believe that health care is a human right. We focus on involving nurses and the community at large about the active and growing campaign to bring single-payer, universal, publicly funded healthcare to our state.

As influential and respected figures in our communities, nurses can lead the charge towards a single-payer universal healthcare system! We are nurses and nursing students, employed and retired, and their friends. We are dedicated to the achievement of a single-payer, universal, publicly funded health care system.  We strive to make Oregon’s constitutional fundamental right to healthcare a reality. NFSP is an active member of Health Care for All Oregon (HCAO).
