Nurses for Single Payer is growing, and we elected Board members and officers this month.
Please congratulate our new officers: Carole Most, President and Rachel Prusak, Vice President. Continuing as officers are Kathy Birch, Secretary, and Tom Sincic, Treasurer. New Board member J.R. McLain joins David Young and Betsy Zucker.
We want to welcome the two new NFSP Board members, who bring fresh energy, excitement and dedication to our movement: Rachel Prusak, FNP, and J.R. McLain, RN. Rachel is an FNP with Housecall Providers in Portland, and a long history with primary care and health care advocacy; J.R. is Charge Nurse at Providence Portland Emergency Department and recently elected to the Oregon Nurses Association’s Cabinet for Health Policy as a single payer advocate.
Two of our former Board members, Chris Tanner and Nancy Sullivan, will continue to be active in NSFP single payer advocacy, especially outreach to nursing schools and curriculum development. Thank you, Chris and Nancy!
